Replicas that pique the Interest
Whether we’re recreating a Crow skull or painting a Neolithic replica the same attention to detail is paid. The advantage of 3D printing for figurine replicas of ancient artifacts is the detail to which surface features can be reproduced. Similarly, our skulls include the intricate grooves made by muscle groups and veins, while also feeling and weighting almost identical to bone; all while being cruelty-free.
Skulls of the British Wildlife
The cornstarch PLA plastic used for printing our skulls has a remarkably true-to-life weight and texture, as well as being appropriately biodegradable. Here at Chapel Prints, we’ve been collecting skulls and fossils for many years, we have a large private collection of specimens and means to digitally render them. Beyond this many specimens are available under creative commons license. This allows us to present a large collection of skull prints. All are carefully printed and painted in a naturalistic style.
Replicas - Venus Figurines
It could be argued that as items of mankind’s earliest artistic endeavors - dating to between 40,000-10,000 BCE - all the Venus figurines and their ilk should be available under creative commons license. However, only a handful are. We reproduced some of the most striking and present them as part of our replica range. We also offer a set of half-size replicas allowing you to compare the artistry between several neolithic figurines.
Other Replicas - Egg Collections
Beyond skulls and figurines, we produce a wide range of other replicas and can be contacted regarding such commissions. Perhaps our most notable additional replicas are our egg collections. Egg collecting is now thankfully banned in the UK meaning our accurately printed and paint eggs are one of the few ways of legitimately admiring such items. I
